‘We are all visitors. to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love…and then, we return home’
Australian Aboriginal Proverb
Our philosophy
It's time to rethink how we leave this world
Death and dying is one of our greatest fears, but it’s possible to move towards and through these experiences with grace and strength.
From a known illness to a sudden death – your own or someone you love. There is always a way that can be about love.
From the dying, to the death, to the ceremony and beyond it is possible to stay connected and in charge.
If it is a predicted death we can choose where we die, what happens with our body and where and when our farewell will be. We can make sure our relationships are honoured and any unfinished business is complete. And in the process we can give the gift of a much less complex bereavement to those left behind.
Meet Annabelle
death doula, end of life guide and celebrant
Welcome. My heart’s longing is to be of service to anyone that finds themselves either dying or losing someone they love. I am sorry you find yourself here, but I do hope that together we can work out the most empowering way of moving through this journey.
Having also found myself in situations of terrible loss, I have been forced to face my greatest fears. I hope I can support you to know and experience what I have found, which is that ultimately we never die, love never dies and that we are always connected and have an ongoing relationship with those that have gone before us.
